Improve cell service within 15 days in Tening: TSU to BSNL

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): The Tening Students’ Union (TSU) has served a 15 day ultimatum to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) mobile service to reinstate the Control Unit at Tening and at the same time improve its service, which it alleged, has been deteriorating from bad to worse.

The TSU, in a representation addressed to the general manager, BSNL, Dimapur on Thursday stated that despite the union’s several appeals to the firm, there has not been any improvement at all in the service quality. It lamented that the general public, particularly students, has been experiencing untold hardship in the past years yet has remained tolerant.

In such given scenario, the TSU said it will no longer remain a silent spectator nor will it engage in any negotiation but will take own course of action if their demands for better service are not met within the given time frame.
