Mokokchung, October 18 (MExN): “125 years of God’s protection and blessing of Impur Mission Centre” was celebrated on October 18 at Impur.

Delivering the quasqui centennial message, Rev Dr Mar Atsongchanger, Executive Secretary, ABAM stated that Rev Dr E W Clark’s vision of gospel penetration to the entire Nagaland and beyond has been executing productively under God’s providence ever since the mission centre got established here in 1894.

“Many Servants of God and Leaders in various disciplines have emerged as a result of this great ministry and looking forward to seeing many God fearing leaders who will be an example to others in changing our society,” he stated.

He acknowledged both Mopungchuket and Süngratsü Village Council and the land owners for selfless mind-set which enabled this Mission Centre to execute with precision. Today, going beyond the dream of the missionary pioneers, ABAM have reached out with the gospel to more than 20 countries and have send more than 624 missionaries. “As we look forward towards Sesquicentennial, ABAM needs prayers from every individual for God’s protection and love,” he added.

Altogether 400 people from different churches and village councils from Mopungchuket and Süngratsü Village graced the programme with their presence and participation.
