Inbound travelers directed to register in nCOVID-19 Nagaland Visitor’s App

DIMAPUR, APRIL 21 (MExN): The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare has informed all inbound travelers entering Nagaland to register themselves in the nCOVID-19 Nagaland Visitor’s App, developed by the department to facilitate surveillance towards tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.


The app is available for download in the Google playstore. 


The categories of persons directed to register themselves include: all inbound travelers entering Nagaland; all persons put on quarantine, either at home or institutional quarantine facility; all persons in “at risk” contact with positive case, as indicated by mobile footprints; and all persons in Contact Tracing Lists within the containment zone.


The above persons are to sign up and update their sign/symptoms status twice daily by 10:00am and by 7:00pm till completion of quarantine period.


Any act of non-registration/ non-compliance shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable as per the provisions of the Epidemic Disease Act, 1897, a press release issued through the DIPR cautioned.

 

How to use the app:
•    Download the app from Google Playstore “nCovid-19 Nagaland visitor’s-app” (if you have an earlier version downloaded, uninstall and install the latest app from playstore)
•    If you have already registered in the App, then login in with your registered mobile number
•    If not registered earlier, select “Sign up”, select “I am a citizen”, register with your mobile number (OTP based authentication)
•    If you are a traveler entering Nagaland, after login, please fill up the “self declare” form
•    If you are within Nagaland, and is in quarantine (home or facility), after login, please select “have you been notified at risk” enter your phone number and quarantine start date

 

Quarantine- daily reporting:
Go to “Home quarantine” fill up your symptoms twice daily for 14 days. Day 1 shall be the start date of quarantine.

 

Timing for daily symptom status reporting:
•    Morning 6 AM to 10 AM.
•    Evening 3 PM to 7 PM

 

Mobile GPS/location should be mandatorily enabled to submit daily report.
