Indo-Naga political negotiation making progress: Q Tuccu

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): The Tatar Hoho winter session of the NSCN (IM) was held today at the Council Headquarters, Hebron.

NSCN (IM) president Q Tuccu in his address reminded the house that the Indo-Naga political negotiation is making positive progress and urged the members to stand firm without losing sight of the final goal that lied ahead.

He believed that a political settlement that is honorable and acceptable to both the parties would be arrived at the earliest through sincerity and political commitment. “Reconciliation and unity is a matter of necessity, but it should be based on national principle. NSCN is of the stand that the Framework Agreement is not only the basis of solution to the long-drawn Indo-Naga political problem but also the uniting point for all the Nagas,” Tuccu stated.
