A jawan of the 11th NAP (IR) was fatally shot reportedly in a case of accidental firing in Pughoboto, Zunheboto on November 11. According to the Zunheboto pPolice, the incident occurred around 9:00 am in Pughoboto town. The police said that the deceased jawan was “maintaining” (cleaning) his service rifle when it reportedly accidentally discharged, the bullet hitting the face. The deceased jawan was identified as Havildar Azo Medeo.
