Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): The beneficiaries of AAY and PHH have brought to notice against non receipt of SKO and Sugar for the last two months.
In an open letter to the Commissioner & Secretary, Government of Nagaland, Department of Food & Civil Supplies, Nagaland, Kohima, three beneficiaries K Rosy Zhimomi, Zheviho and V Muinao stated that they used to receive one litre of SKO, though not regularly but for the last two months, the beneficiaries have not received SKO from the office of the Assistant Director of Supply, Dimapur.
The beneficiaries also stated that the AAY beneficiaries have not received SKO and sugar for more than three months. The beneficiaries further stated that they submitted AAY ration card for renewal in the month of April, but till today they have not received it, instead they were getting rice in a piece of paper issued from the office. When they tried to contact the officer, he was not in office most of the time, the release stated.
They were compelled to write this letter to the DC in the hope that the problems of the poor people in Dimapur would be looked into and taken into consideration, it stated.
