The reconciliation meeting on 29th February 2012 will be a big gathering of the Naga people according to invitation circulated by concerned people. In such a big gathering, I hope, the Nagas will do to reaffirm the Naga Independence Declaration of 1947, Plebiscite of 1951 and Lakhuti resolution of 1955. Also I do hope that the Nagas present in the meeting will reassert in the meeting that the Nagas are not Indians, Naga territory does not belong to India as the Naga delegation led by A.Z. Phizo clearly told Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Indian nation on 19th July 1947. When the Nagas present in meeting have done these in one accord, it would be done according to the principle of FNR (i.e, to reconcile based on historical and political rights), and it would an achievement of FNR.
