Jalukie observes Day of Persons with Disabilities

Dimapur, December 6 (MExN): ‘International Day of Persons with Disabilities’ cum pre Christmas day was observed on December 3 at Jalukie Town Hall.

 

Francis Lohuo, Branch Manager SBI, Jalukie was the chief guest. “It is an eye opener for me, grateful for being a part of the function,” said Lohuo at the function. After a brief exhortation, he interacted with the children while giving out Christmas presents.

 

Ndazeung Hingleu, Associate Children Pastor, Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church said the invocation prayer for the function and also prayed over the Christmas gifts. Ngaugongbe Hega, President, (DAPO) talked on the theme of the day. The function was chaired by Ramheiyile. The programme focused around the Christmas tree with Christmas father leading the carol song, said a press release from PNF.

 

The programme was organized by People in Need Foundation (PNF) and the Differently Abled Persons Organization (DAPO) and supported by SBI Jalukie Branch, DC Office Peren, ADC Office Jalukie and Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church.
