Jan 18 protest against CAA has no political colour: Organisers

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 16 (MExN): The 'Nagaland against CAA' protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act is scheduled to be held on January 18 at Supermarket, Dimapur at 10:00am. A press release from the organizing committee informed that the protest “has no political color.” “It is strictly apolitical and it will be a peaceful one. The protest will consist of not only speeches but will include music, skits and on the spot paintings,” the press release stated. It added that “when the whole country is in uproar, Nagaland cannot remain silent,” and urged the public to show their solidarity with the rest of the country and participate in the protest.
