Kohima, December 11 (MExN): The State government has further extended the period of one-man Judicial Inquiry Commission to inquire into January 31, 2017 incident in Dimapur for another two month. On expiry of 1 month and in continuation to Home Department’s Notification dated October 31, 2019, the Governor of Nagaland has further extended the period of JIC for another 2 month period from December 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020 for submission of the Commission report, a DIPR report informed. “The Commission should submit the report on or before this extended period and no further extension will be accorded,” the report said, quoting the Department’s notification. “Other Terms of Reference of the Commission would remain the same,” it added.
