The Khehoi gang’s desperate attempt to find survival refuge for themselves has compelled them to clamour for peace. The cry for peace in the Naga society has never been more vocal as in the present scenario. The concerned Nagas either political, apolitical, Churches, social institutions, families and even laymen are sentimentally involved in the campaign for “Peace in our Land”. To take advantage of the prevailing popular demands of the Naga people, the Khehoi Gangsters tried to make themselves synonymous with the peace movement and branded SS. Khaplang as anti-peace, and a Burmese assuming that the Nagas would simply be carried away by it’s pretentious peace slogan.
But all along, the Nagas, principally those peace activists who had been involved in the on-going process since it’s inception knew quite well the credit of SS. Khaplang as the first architect to design and deliver the present peace road-map on which the Nagas are plying.
When the Khehoi gang’s initial attempt to proliferate anti-Khaplang’s propaganda of anti-peace has been rendered null and void with the facts of Khaplang as peace originator being still afresh in the psyche of the Nagas, they are now left with no other choice but to escape disgrace and shame are now desperately and irrelevantly struggling to divert the Nagas attention by trying to create un-necessary controversy over NSCN/GPRN’s Cease-fire with GOI.
The recklessness and confused state of minds of the Khehoi gangsters in itself had sub-consciously admitted that SS. Khaplang endorsed Cease-Fire with GOI in 2001 and the “Reconciliation covenant” as well in the year 2008. Accordingly the NSCN/GPRN as one compact political entity had so far officially been participating as a major stake-holder in all these processes till date under SS. Khaplang’s leadership and would continue to strengthen and rejuvenate the process unconcerned of the nuisance being created or the failed sabotage attempt by residents of Khehoi to partition the hitherto unified NSCN/GPRN and the Naga people
on territorial lines. The speeches, writings, thinking and concepts of Khehoi gang and it’s enunciation of Indo-Naga politics clearly indicates the hands, brains and minds, tongues and visions of Indian Government Agencies indoctrination. The several decades long Indo-Naga-Myanmar political impasse has suddenly been descended down and limited to Indo-Naga geo-political parlance only.
The sudden changes in the tones, attitudes and scopes of settlement with GOI and “Outright rejection of Nagas” from beyond international border as non-Nagas but Burmese would for centuries to come be recorded in the annals of Naga history as the “Treasonous Political Judgement” ever forced upon the own Nagas by few pro-India gangsters gathered at Khehoi and doing the India’s biddings. Like Judas who betrayed Jesus Christ for thirty (30) pieces of coins, these traitors in the guise of “Peace and Reconciliation” has chosen to betray the Naga brethrens from Myanmar at the most crucial hour of redefining the Nagas Political History.
