Khehokhu village celebrated its golden jubilee on December 15. Executive Secretary of Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu, Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi unveiled and dedicated the bust of Late Khehokhu Yepthomi, founder of the village. He also dedicated the jubilee monolith.
During the programme, Ato Kukau (Head GB) of the village, Hokiye Yeptho delivered the welcome address. Director, Sumi Baptist Convention, Rev Dr. Khehovi Shohe released the jubilee souvenir.
Rev. Dr. Hevukhu delivered the sermon. A host of invitees including Advisor for Power, Tovihoto Ayemi; ex-MLA, Hewoto Awomi, Naga national political group leaders including Q. Tuccu, Akato Chophi, Samson Aye and public leaders, church leaders and GBs of various villages attended the programme.
