KOHIMA, DECEMBER 14 (MExN): The Kohima District Administration along with its sister departments celebrated advent Christmas on December 13 at the Deputy Commissioner's office compound, Kohima.
Delivering the Christmas message, the Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie said that celebrating the advent Christmas was to prepare our souls on how well we prepare ourselves to recieve the blessings and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, a DIPR report stated.
Adding that the celebration should ensure the happiness of the “one who has saved us from sins,” he encouraged the gathering to share love and happiness out of their heart with not the people who have but to share with people who do not have sufficient without any reservation. He encouraged them to experience the Christmas love with peaceful environment and to have more meaningful Christmas celebration.
The program was chaired by Medoneisa Chadi while invocation prayer was offered by Rakalung and scripture reading by Ketoulhoutuoü Rame. Christmas gifts were also exchanged. The program was organized and sponsored by Kohima District Administration.
