DIMAPUR, JUNE 13 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has informed that its new President has taken oath today. According to Akaho Assumi, Kilo Secretary, GPRN the oath taking took place at an official function held at the National Assembly hall attended by the Ato Kilonser with his Council of Kilonsers, the NPAC, Tatars, Head of Departments & high ranking Naga Army Officers. “The Speaker, Tatar Hoho administered Oath of Allegiance and Office Oath & Secrecy upon Gen. Kholi Konyak, this day the 13th June 2011”, stated the press note while adding that this had put “an end to the constitutional crisis arising out of inevitable impeachment of former President”. And further, as a follow up to National Hoho’s unanimous resolution, the Speaker officially declared Gen. Kholi, as the President of the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland, the press note stated.
