Khrielakuonuo Angami conferred National Florence Nightingale Award

Kohima, December 10 (MExN): Khrielakuonuo Angami, a nurse working at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima was awarded the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award for Nurses 2019 on December 5. 

A press release issued by Dr. Thorusie Kathiry, Managing Director, NHAK informed that the award is conferred for the meritorious service rendered by nurses to the society, by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the aegis of Indian Nursing Council.

Angami, who hails from Kohima village, has been serving for 28 years at NHAK and is known to colleagues for her sincerity in service. 

Khrielakuonuo will be the third person to receive the award from Nagaland, since the inception of the award in 1973.
