Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): The Pochury Mothers' Association has mourned the demise of Khuosatho Nyusou, former MLA from 20 Meluri Assembly Constituency who passed away on November 14 in Kohima.
“Late Khuosatho Nyusou was a dynamic leader with outstanding leadership qualities and whose connection with the grassroots level is truly remarkable. His selfless services and contributions to towards the society since his youth days are immeasurable and would be cherished fondly,” the Association stated in a condolence message on Sunday.
Stating that his demise is a huge loss for the Pochury people and the Nagas in general, the Association conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
PDBA: Meanwhile, the Phek District Bar Association (PDBA), mourning his demise, stated that late Khuosatho’s death had caused huge loss not only to the people of Phek district but also the Naga society.
Remembering the departed leader as a cheerful personality, and a humble and decent man who had sacrificed and dedicated his prime life in the service of the people, the PDBA conveyed condolences to his wife and their children, and to all the near and dear ones of the bereaved family. “May the departed soul of our beloved leader rest in eternal peace with the Lord,” it added.
