Kiphire, February 11 (MExN): The Kiphire District Planning Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting was held on February 5 at DC Conference Hall, Kiphire town.
Chairing the meeting, the Vice Chairman and DC Kiphire Sarita Yadav IAS dwelled on the poor attendance. She urged the DPDB members to be regular in the monthly meetings and incase of official engagements or duties, she directed the members to give prior information and seek leave in advance from the authority.
Following proposals were approved by DPDB rain water harvesting facility in Kiphire, Construction of approach road from Nikeya to Sitimi Town. Further discussion on the need to properly utilize LADP fund Vice chairman DPDB asked the house to give views and suggestions regarding iconic project under LADP.
Department wise presentation for the month of February was given by Fishery Department and Employment Department.
