KMC sets price rates for essential commodities

Kohima, March 27 (MExN): At an emergency meeting held with the whole sellers within Kohima Municipal Council jurisdiction in view of the panic caused due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the following rate of items have been approved.

 

  • Tomato: Rs. 30 (Per Kg)
  • Green Chilly (Tepa): Rs. 60 (Per Kg)
  • Green Chilly (Micro): Rs.70 (Per Kg)
  • Onion: Rs. 40 (Per Kg)
  • Potato: Rs. 30 (Per Kg)
  • Cabbage: Rs. 20 (Per Kg)
  • Garlic: Rs. 150 (Per Kg)
  • Masoor Dal (Lentil): Rs.70 (Per Kg)
  • Rahar Dal: Rs.100 (Per Kg)
  • Mong Dal: Rs. 110 (Per Kg)
  • Sugar: Rs. 50 (Per Kg)
  • Egg: Rs. 160 (Per Plate)
  • Rice (Arham, Andra): Rs.1850 (Per 50kg)
  • Rice (Boil): Rs.850 (Per 25kg)

No commodities shall be sold beyond the MRP or fixed rate and in case, any rate is increased, the whole sellers shall stop the import till new rate approved, a DIPR report informed.
