'Knowledge is the greatest power'

The 45th session of the Langzanger Village Student Session (LVSU) was held with C. Lisemong, Vice President, NPF 59 A/C as chief guest under the theme ‘Knowledge, the greatest power’ on December 28.  

Addressing the gathering, Lisemong said, “the source of knowledge is from God and as a student one should have personal relationship with God to gain quality knowledge, otherwise the knowledge we gain without God will only bring destruction.”  

The chief guest said that hardship and inconvenience are nothing new during student life, but if one could undergo the problems, they will be successful in life and asked the students to focus on their goal in life and not just to look for a comfortable life.  

Sharing his thought with the parents, Lisemong also said that parents should know their role and responsibility while supporting children for education. “Spending money in the life of students for education is nothing but investment,” he said while encouraging the parents not to hesitate in supporting children education.  

Later, the chief guest declared the games and sports open and inaugurated the cultural programme.  

Liriba, President Langznager Village Students Union while delivering welcome note mentioned about the value of education and impact of education in the lives of individual. He encouraged the gathering to give their best in any activities for the growth and betterment of the society.  

In the cultural programme, ‘Pung Khyangba Atuzu’ and Longmi were present by Seyangli and Sitsa Amulong.
