The 52nd Graduation Day of Kohima Bible College (KBC) took place at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima on June 2 with Rev Dr Zotuo Kiewhuo, Principal, KBC and Founder and Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, as the graduation speaker.

Addressing the gathering, Rev Dr Kiewhuo underscored the importance of discipleship, citing the example of Jesus Christ in raising disciples to build the Kingdom of God.

He emphasised that God is looking for disciples and that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to build the Kingdom of God. Quoting Luke 17:21, “The kingdom of God is within you,” he called upon believers to focus on establishing God's kingdom through evangelism and service.

Rev Dr Kiewhuo noted that KBC is the first Bible college in Kohima and the first charismatic Bible college in Northeast India. He said KBC graduates and alumni are now serving in all the seven continents of the world, reflecting the biblical mandate to preach the Gospel.

Highlighting the college motto, “Saved to Serve,” he urged the graduates to remain committed to the mission of winning souls for Christ. He also emphasised the importance of sound doctrine and cautioned against liberal theology and demonic teachings. Calling on the graduates to keep their focus on Jesus Christ, he encouraged them to uphold the principles of preaching, healing and deliverance as taught in the Bible.

A speech on behalf of the graduating class was delivered by Khamkai Arolim (B.Th.). The programme was led by A. Athew, Assistant Professor of KBC.
