KOHIMA, AUGUST 25 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS has informed that in view of the heavy traffic congestion in and around Kohima town, especially during peak traffic hours, entry of heavy goods vehicles (trucks/dumpers) into Kohima town has been strictly prohibited from 6:00 AM till 7:00 PM. The order further stated that all permits issued to private and government vehicles (trucks/dumpers) from the office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima has also been partially modified and shall henceforth adhere to the aforementioned timings. The order will come into force with immediate effect.
