Kohima, December 16 (MExN): Kohima District Administration along with sister's departments within the office premises celebrated advent Christmas on December 13 at Deputy Commissioner's office compound, Kohima.
A DIPR report stated that delivering the Christmas message, the DC Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie said that celebrating the advent Christmas was to prepare our souls on how well we prepare ourselves to received the blessings and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Adding that the celebration should ensure the happiness of the one who has saved us from sins, he encouraged the gathering to share love and happiness out of their heart with not the people who have but to share with people who do not have sufficient without any reservation to experience the love with peaceful environment and to have more meaningful Christmas celebration.
The programme was chaired by Medoneisa Chadi while invocation prayer was offered by Rakalung and scripture reading by Ketoulhoutuoü Rame. Christmas gifts were also exchanged with bon fire. The program was organized and sponsored by Kohima District Administration.
