Kohima: Preparation for R-Day 2020 begins

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): A meeting was held to chalk out work distribution and other arrangements in regard to the ensuing Republic Day Celebrations at New Secretariat Plaza, Kohima on January 26. The meeting held at DC's Conference Hall, Kohima on January 13 was chaired by ADC Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa. 

The meeting reviewed the last state level meeting minutes held on December 12, 2019 and confirmed the participation of various departments, organisations and NGOs assigned with different works during the celebration of Republic Day 2020. Departments, organisations and NGOs who could not give their confirmation in the meeting have been asked to do so within a day or two for onward submission to the Government.

For the parade contingents, it was decided to commence parade rehearsal from January 17 from 7:00 am onwards.
