DIMAPUR, MARCH 27 (MExN): The Khonoma Rüffüno Dimapur (KRD) today expressed shock at the alleged murder of Er. Kevinguto Khate on March 16.
A press release from the KRD President, Kevizeto Meyase condemned the act and urged the law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the matter and award befitting punishment to the culprits.
“Late Er. Kevinguto Khate was serving as an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Nagaland, Chümoukedima till that fateful day and has contributed greatly to the growth and development of the nascent premier institution. He was an accomplished Structural Engineer not only in the state arena but also at the national level. He was also known for his amiable personality and professionalism,” the KRD stated.
“In his death, we have lost a good and most promising personality. The untimely demise has not only cut short the dreams of a young upcoming academician with umpteen potentials but has also caused an irreparable loss to our society,” it added.
The KDR further extended condolences to the bereaved family.
