KTU, NSCN (IM) extend condolence

DIMAPUR, JULY 21 (MExN): The Kuki Tribal Union (KTU) of the NSCN (IM) has expressed sadness at the killing of 6 NSCN (IM) cadres in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh on July 11 and condemned what it termed was the “brutality of the Indian security forces.” A press release from the KTU, NSCN (IM) meanwhile appreciated the Naga Hoho (NH), Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA), Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) and various other organizations that took the initiative to bring back the mortal remains of the deceased to reach each of their destinations. It also thanked the United Naga Council (UNC), All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM) and Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) for having jointly organized a condolence service on July 17. “The union also shares the grief of the bereaved family members and prays to the Almighty God to grant their families solace and also pray for the souls of the departed comrades to rest in peace,” it added.
