Peren, January 28 (MExN): Lilen village and Church under Ahthibung sub-division, Peren district celebrated its platinum jubilee with the theme ‘Ebenezer’ on January 24.
The celebration began with unveiling and dedication of jubilee monolith by Rev Khuphao Singsit, Pastorate Pastor, Kuki Christian Church Nagaland Synod.
The main highlights of the celebration was cultural dance and songs presented by the youth and students of Lilen.
In the formal programme, the jubilee souvenir was released by Alet Hangsing, Rtd Jt Director, Department of Agriculture, Nagaland and dedicated by Rev Lenkhokam Hangsing, Secretary, CGKCC. The speaker of the theme ' Ebenezer' was Rev Chungpao Khongsai, Executive Secretary, KCCN.
Gospel artists from KCC churches enthralled the gathering with songs. Earlier, Rev Lamkhotong Singson, Executive Secretary KBAN invoked God's blessings while vote of thanks was said by GB of Lilen Village, Letcha Hangsing.
