Little Seedlings Montessori Pre-School in Mokokchung dedicated

A new pre-school Little Seedlings Montessori Pre-School was dedicated at Longkumer Kilmer, Mokokchung by S Mar Aier, Pastor, Marepkong Baptist Church in the presence of Sademkala, SDEO, Mokokchung on October 25.

In a brief dedications service, Sademkala congratulated the proprietor for time and investment and for making her project of establishing a pre-school a reality. She also said that pre-school is training for children before they undergo formal education and said that it was a great responsibility to nurture and develop the kids in a holistic manner. 

She also added that kids at pre-school age were young, delicate and tender and that the school should meet the demands and attention of all the kids. She concluded by saying that educators are the shapers of the lives of kids and that it is the duty of an educator for the all round development of the kids.

The proprietor of the school, Zulusenla Jamir, a Montessori trained teacher said that she has always loved being with the kids and being with them gives her joy and makes her happy. With the motto ‘Learn to sow and grow’ Zulusenla said that Little Seedlings Montessori pre-school has been set up with the vision to mould and bring children up like tiny seedlings with utmost care.

Little Seedling Montessori Pre-School introduces Montessori curriculum with informal learning method which will be child centered where every child will be dealt individually. 

The curriculum will have focus on four practical subjects: exercise practical learning, Sensoral, arithmetic and language and they plan on introducing music class too.

Admissions for the year 2020 are open since October for Pre-nursery, nursery, LKG and UKG and the classes will officially begin in the month of February 2020. Little Seedling Montessori Pre-School is located at Longkumer Kilem, Mokokchung.
