NSEAA elects new office bearers
Kohima, November 1 (MExN): The Nagaland School education, Administrative Association (NSEAA) has elected a new team of office bearers for next tenure, led by Zaveyi Nyekha as president, Ekonthung Lotha as Vice president, K. Mary Azuerchu as general secretary, joint secretary-Amenla Pongen, Treasurer-Kuoliebeu and joint treasurer-Chubasangla Jamir.
NCSU Peren office inauguration
Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): The NCSU Peren district office will be inaugurated on November 5 at Peren Town by Pele Khzhie, president NCSU Kohima. All the members of Peren district are requested to attend the inaugural programme and lunch at Tepuiki River. This was informed in a press release issued by NSCU Peren district vice president Pausap Ndang.
ANSTA Noklak general session held
Kohima, November 1 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Noklak unit held its general session at Town hall Noklak, under the theme “teachers with a vision” with minister Soil & Water conservation and land resources development P. Longon as the chief guest. Addressing the guest, Longon asserted that teachers are of noble profession and more responsible citizen than the others thereby urged the teachers to be honest and commitment and hard working. The minister also inaugurated 25 KVA electricity power line at international Trade Centre (ITC) at Dan village on the same day.
CPH leadership foundation training
Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): House of Prayer for All Nations (HOPFAN) is organising a Christian Prayer House Leadership Foundation Training from November 11 to 13, 2011. A press note issued by Pastor Phelutso, HOPFAN informed that morning prayer will start at 5:00 am, morning service at 9:00 am, evening service at 5:00 pm. The speakers for the training shall be Rev Ahoshe Chophy, Mission Director, NCRC, Rev. Veyikha, pastor, Chate Christian Prayer Centre, Rev. Dr. N Paphino, president NCRC.
GB’s assc support aggrieved teachers
Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): The Ato Area GB’s Association extended its support to aggrieved teachers who are afflicted since last three years. The Association in a press note issued by its chairman stated that “certainly there have been suffering but suffering that aggrieved teachers facing are beyond limit where no human being can compare. It is unkind gesture by government to aggrieved teachers; government should rather have their suffering and should be in their place in order to understand the problem faced by teachers and their dependent.” The Association further stated that it is high time that the government should understand the grievances of aggrieved teacher and take prompt initiatives to solve the hassle at the earliest, before it stages another agitation.
Hindi to be implemented in Central Government offices
Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): The Third Sub-Committee of the Committee of Parliament on Official Language has reviewed the implementation of official language, i.e. ‘Hindi’ (Rajbhasha). A press note issued by Sr. Deputy Accountant General, P.V Hari Krishna,t stated that Hindi will be implemented in the office of the Accountant General (A&E) Kohima, National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) Kohima and Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), State Office Dimapur. The note mentioned that the Third Sub-Committee of the Committee of Parliament on Official Language had visited Kohima on October 30 to November 1, 2011. The Committee comprised of Prof. Alka B.Kshatriya, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha)-the Convenor for the Third Sub-Committee, Hukamedeo N.Yadav, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha)- member and Dr. Raghuvansh P.Singh, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha)-member.
