Longleng, July 17 (MExN): ADC & Administrator Longleng Town Council D Robin, in pursuance to the National Directives for COVID-19 Management and in continuation to the earlier order of the ADC & Administrator Longleng Town Council dated May 10 has directed all concerned to adhere to the following guidelines: compulsory wearing of face cover/mask; strict maintenance of social distancing; provisions for hand wash/sanitization in shops and business establishments.
Further, the following activities are strictly prohibited with immediate effect; smoking in public places, spitting in public places, consumption of liquor, paan, gutkha, tobacco etc. in public places.
The order stated that any individual found violating the above will be penalized as mentioned: First offence- Rs 100; second offence-Rs.200; and third offence-violation will be punishable under National Disaster Management Act, section 51(b).
