Longleng, August 7 (MExN): Longleng District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DCs conference hall on August 6 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner cum Vice Chairmen DPDB Longleng, M Shayung Phom.
The meeting reviewed on the temporary station for Emergency Fire service in the heart of Longleng Town and decided that the details will be reported by next meeting. Some other agendas deliberated included LAPD scheme 20-21, Longleng District Badminton Association (LDBA) approach for financial support to organize all Nagaland Badminton Tournament at Longleng, construction of ADC quarter at Longleng, Officers Club Longleng constitution and celebration of Independence Day as per directive by Government and to organize social work in view of Independence Day celebration.
The DC also acknowledged all departments and officers for their support towards COVID-19 pandemic and contributing towards the renovation of Longleng-Changtongya road. He called upon all HODs and officers to be at station as per directive by the Chief Secretary and also avoid travelling during this time of pandemic.
