WOKHA, MAY 5 (MExN): The village councils of Longsa and Wokha village donated vegetables and fruits to the administration, medical and police personnel at Wokha town on May 5.
Deputy Commissioner, Orenthung Lotha expressed his gratitude to the village councils and stated that through the continuous support of churches and various civil societies, the department is able to carry on its effort to contain the disease.
The village council members of Longsa and Wokha village said that the donation was a way of showing their appreciation to the frontline workers for risking their lives to protect the public during the pandemic.
