Lotha Hoho Dimapur inducts bearers

Dimapur, January 11 (MExN): Lotha Hoho Dimapur (LHD) held its general meeting cum induction of new office bearers for the year 2020- 2022 at Lotha Hoho Ki on January 11.
As per a press release from Media Cell, Dy CM, the outgoing Chairman Etsungmomo Kikon gave the welcome speech while Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton exhorted the gathering.
In his short speech, the Deputy CM urged upon all the civil societies to play a pro active role to bring the NSCN (IM) and the seven NNPGs under one negotiating table, “because the GOI will give only one solution for the protracted Naga issue,” the release stated.
On development activities in the state, Patton lamented that most of the government developmental projects were stalled by landownership issues, to which he appealed to the people and its leaders to cooperate with the government to avail the facilities of government funded projects.
Further, the Deputy CM expressed his willingness to host Lotha Tokhu Emong in Dimapur in the future. He also assured to donate one new vehicle to LHD, while encouraging them to work with sincerity and dedication for the betterment of the society.
A new team of office bearers led by Y L Jami (Retd IAS), among others were inducted to lead the Hoho for the tenure 2020- 2022. Rev Zanao Mozhui Sr Pastor, LBCD invoked God's blessings for the new team.
