Imphal, August 2 (NNN): A 12-hour Manipur bandh has been called on Wednesday by the All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) in protest against Monday blast in Imphal that had claimed five lives. The AMSU said the bandh will begin from 5 am on Wednesday and appeals all section of the people to extend their co-operation to the bandh. It is likely that owing to the magnitude of the incident of Monday, many organisations cutting across different sections of the people will lend their support to the AMSU bandh. Two young girl students were among the victims of yesterday’s blast.
