Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): A 17-member delegation from Manipur, led by Sanasam Premchandra Singh, MLA of 29-Kumbi Assembly Constituency, undertook an industrial visit to the Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC), Dimapur, on August 27.
The delegation was briefed on the objectives, activities and various initiatives of NTTC, followed by a tour of its infrastructure, training facilities and technology-enabled laboratories.
The delegates showed keen interest in NTTC’s Centre of Excellence in Industry 4.0, particularly its modern technologies and training facilities, including 3D printers, robotics, drones, IoT kits and other emerging technologies.

They also appreciated the range of rural technologies and technology-based solutions developed at NTTC, particularly those relevant to local needs and livelihoods.
The visit provided the delegation an opportunity to understand the technological and training capabilities available at NTTC. The interaction also generated interest in exploring possible areas of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in the future.
The visit concluded on a positive note, with the delegation appreciating NTTC’s efforts to promote technology, skills and innovation in the region.
