Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner Anoop Khinchi, who is also the Chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority, on July 17, ordered the sealing of Shanti Medical (Chümoukedima Town), Star Laboratory (Chümoukedima Town), Curewell Laboratory (Chümoukedima Town) and the residence of the COVID-19 positive patient located at Ward-1, Chümoukedima. Any person violating these containment measures would be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the IPC, the DC’s order stated.
