Kohima, December 13 (MExN): The Mezoma Baptist Church (MBC) is all set celebrate 75 Years of the Christianity in the village from December 18 to 19 under the theme ‘Preach to all nations’ (Psalms 96: 3a). The pioneers were the families of Kuovichalie Sirie and Vithoyie Kielienyu.
Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) General Secretary, Rev Dr.Zelhu Keyho will grace the inaugural session on December 18 at 10:30 am while Rev Vicavor Krose, Convenor of MBC 75 Years celebration, will chair the session.
Prior to the inaugural session, a 30 minute function will be observed to dedicate the prayer altar by Rev Dr V Atsi Dolie, Executive Director, Angami Baptist Church Council (ABCC). Other speakers of the celebration will include Rev Asselie Krose, former Secretary NPBCC and Rokosato Keyho, Missionary (Assam).
The Molungkimong Baptist Church (MBC) has also consented to be a part of the celebration. Other highlights of the celebration will include; release of souvenir, publication of Book of 75 Songs, joint fellowship with Catholic and Revival church, community feast etc.
A resolution for 100 Years shall be declared on the concluding session of the celebration. Apart from the invitation served to all Baptist Churches under Angami Baptist Church Council along with program through the respective ABCC members, the Organizing Committee of MBC 75 Years of Christianity extended its invitation to all the Baptist Churches under ABCC to attend the program.
