Modi holds video conference with all CMs

KOHIMA, MARCH 20 (MExN): Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi convened a video conference with the Chief Ministers of all states on March 20 with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chief Minister of Nagaland along with Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Chief Secretary and other senior officials attended the video conference.
While acknowledging the hard work put in by various States, the Prime Minister emphasized every citizen should strictly observed hand sanitation and social distancing as well as avoid non-essential travelling.
The present juncture being the most critical time to prevent further spread of the disease, all State Governments were requested to intensify various efforts to combat the COVID-19. He assured states that the Government of India will extend all possible help. States were also instructed to conduct a mock drill on Hospital Preparedness on March 22.
