Mokochung DC sets up cell for inter district movement

MOKOKCHUNG, MAY 5 (MExN): The Mokokchung DC has opened up a facilitation cell for movement of indigenous persons who are stranded in the district and want to go back to their home districts within the State during the period from May 7 to 9.

 

The nodal officers for this are: Temsuchuba Jamir, EAC (Sadar); Station Superintendent, NST Mokokchung; and Regional Transport Officer, Mokokchung.

 

The order stated that in case of difficulties faced by the stranded people to reach the DC’s office, the ward or village authorities shall compile the list of such persons and submit the same to the facilitation cell.

 

All passengers travelling in NST buses have been directed to carry their own packed food/refreshments. Further 2 seats are to be reserved for security personnel in each bus.

 

Those wanting to travel in their private vehicles can also apply for the permit at the facilitation cell.

 

The order added that special care must be taken to ensure social distancing and other protocols at all times including cumpolsary use of face masks and disinfectants/sanitization.
