Divisional Forest Office, Mokokchung felicitate the participants of All India Forest Sports Meet (AIFSM) on November 21.
Mokokchung, November 23 (MExN): The office of the Divisional Forest Office, Mokokchung organised a felicitation programme for the participants of All India Forest Sports Meet (AIFSM) on November 21.
According to an update received here, it stated that the Nagaland Forest department contingent delivered a commendable performance at the 28th AIFSM held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand from November 12 to 16, where Bendanginla UDA secured a bronze medal in badminton.
The program was led by Moamongba ACF, Tuli Range and commenced with an opening prayer by Moarenla, DMU staff.
Y Moa Imchen, Sr Head Accountant extended a warm welcome to the gathering and expressed pride to the participants for their dedication, hard work and commendable achievement.
Sashilemla, Range Officer Mokokchung, Bendanginla (Bronze Medallist) and Imcha John, Dy Ranger shared their key learning and experiences from the AIFSM. They shared the importance of consistent, mental preparedness and understanding one’s strength and weakness.
The three staff participants also conveyed their gratitude to the department for providing them with the opportunity and continuous support throughout the sports event.
Dr Sentitula IFS, DFO Mokokchung urged everyone to continue striving for excellence with commitment and discipline and also noted that although a bronze medal was secured this year, the goal should be to attain silver or gold in the coming years through consistent practice and improvement.
