The district administration of Mokokchung has issued strict restriction order on vehicular movement in the district. All vehicular movement, except notified exemptions, have been imposed in the district during the 21-day national lockdown to contain COVID-19 pandemic. Pedestrian movement is also restricted to one person per household to procure essential commodities. Shops selling essential commodities are allowed to open for four hours a day, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
