Mon, May 8 (MExN): In view of the Mother's Day celebrations which falls on May 10, the Deputy Commissioner, Mon Thavaseelan K, IAS has issued an order permitting all categories of shops are to remain open on May 9 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. “This will be valid only for the day and from Monday the restrictions on shop opening timings (9:00 am to 2:00 pm) and days (Monday to Friday) will continue as before,” the DC Mon stated. The shopkeepers and public are directed to strictly adhere to social distancing norms and other preventive measures notified by the Government.
