Chümoukedima, August 21 (MExN): Mount Mary College, Chumukedima celebrated its 6th graduation day for the batch of 2020, 2021 and 2022 on August 20 at the college auditorium with Prof S Venugopal, Director of NIT, Chumukedima as the commencement Speaker.
The programme was graced by the Chairman of the college, Dr M Chuba Ao; Managing Director, Dr C Teeya Imsong; Principal, Dr TK Jana; Dr Nukshilemla; Director of IPCER, Nungshimongla, Principal of Mount Mary Higher Secondary School and all faculty members and guests.
The speaker of the event encouraged the young graduates to plan for master's degree and pursue research in their subject and deal in life with honesty, sincerity and hard work. The Speaker further shared his knowledge and experience of life and the road to success.
The Chairman of the college in his speech also shared valuable insights to the young minds.
In the Special Awards category, P Lelimthong Yimchunger, P Nepe Konyak and Rolan were awarded as the best students of the year for the batch 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively. The college also presented a special award to Supongnokthung, the subject topper in Sociology under Nagaland University in the 2022 batch.
