Music, dance ring in Intl Youth Day

 

Neo- Sirkel organized a flair fusion, joining along with the rest of the world in celebrating International Youth Day, (an open contest- Music, Dance and Slogan competition) that was held here at indoor stadium this afternoon. The celebration was held under the theme “Youth should be given a chance an active part in decision making in local, national and global level”, where Zumvü Printex was the co-sponsor and supported by Nagaland State AIDS Control Society.
Hundreds of students from different schools filled the stadium to cheer their favorite band as 20 participants took the stage for the competition. The winners were awarded with a cash of Rs. 7000 and certificate, while the second and third were awarded with a cash of Rs. 5000 and Rs. 2000 respectively. The slogan contest was held under the topic “What if I were tested HIV positive” which was opened to all. The slogan contest winners were awarded a cash of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively. Four students of Sazolie College ushered for blood donations during the programme.  Judges of the competition included Tolto Metha and Yanpo.
