Dimapur, December 18 (MExN): The Three (3) days long Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Northern Angami Catholic Youth Association (NACYA) ended in a grand spiritual manner. The Jubilee began on the 16th December 2011 and culminated on the December 18, 2011 with the Holy Eucharist, which was programmed as the main event. Very Reverend Fr. Neisalhou Carlus, Vicar general, Diocese of Kohima, graced the Eucharist as the Main Celebrant in the company of Fr. Jerome Moshary, sdb, Parish priest, Christ King Parish, Fr. Alex Vizo, Parish priest, Saint Frances De Sales, Kohima, Fr. Solomon Vizo, Rector, Good Shepherd Seminary, Jalukie, and Fr. Ranjan, Vice Principal, Donbosco Higher Seconda RY School, Kohima.
In his Homily, the Vicar General urged the congregation to construct a modest and a righteous Church within oneself. Citing the exemplary action of Mother Mary, who build a Church within her through virtues such as Obedience to God, Love for others, Faith/Trust in God, humbleness, holiness, etc, and the result was that Jesus Christ, our Saviour was born out of this Church. He called upon the congregation to imitate Mother Mary’s example so that Salvation will come upon all. Meanwhile, the Mass also coincided with the receiving of Holy Communion for the first time by more than 30 children from St. Stephen’s Church, Rüsoma. Sr. Keneiü Rita, who hails from Rüsoma Village and was ordained as a Nun on the December 8, 2011
