
Kohima, August 10 (MExN): A Naga boy, who recently qualified for the UPSC exam, was today assigned to the India Foreign Service (IFS). According to the department of Personnel & Training , Government of India, Cherakung Zeliang, son of N. Silubo Zeliang was today assigned IFS from among 801 selected candidates from across the country. Cherakung is a computer engineer from Mumbai University, an MBA from Indian institute of management, and also worked as a consultant for the global consultant firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers before clearing the UPSC. Another Naga boy, Kahoto J Yeptomi has been assigned to the Indian Audit and Accounts Service.
