Naga lady wins national letter writing competition for third year in a row

Kohima, August 10 (MExN): For the third consecutive year, Aboli T Wotsa from Nagaland has emerged the winner of annual Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Campaign 2019-20. She bagged the first prize (North East Circle) in the event organised by the Department of Posts, Government of India.

Wotsa participated in the above 18 years and Envelope category on the theme 'Dear Bapu, you are Immortal'. She will be awarded with a citation certificate and a cash prize of Rs 25000.

“This is the third consecutive win for Wotsa in the same competition having won the first position in the Envelope category 2018-19 and the second position in the Inland letter card category 2017-18 respectively,” L Tiken Singh, Superintendent of Posts, Nagaland Division stated in a press release.

The annual campaign aims to promote the art of letter writing in the country. Out of 2102 participants in the North East level, 891 from Nagaland participated in the competition. 

The Department of Posts, Nagaland Division has congratulated Wotsa for her achievement and talent in the field of letter writing.
