Nagaland: 136 under surveillance, no cases yet

DIMAPUR, MARCH 19 (MExN): The Department of Health and Family Welfare has informed that are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland as of 6:00pm, March 19. It may be noted that no samples have been sent for testing as of yet.
Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare, Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie informed that 4,280 persons have been screened at the airport while border screening is being done at 14 rail and road entry points to the State. District Task Forces have also been put in place at all the districts. Meanwhile, 171 isolation beds have been set up.
The press release further stated that there are currently 136 persons under surveillance in the State while there are 13 foreigners in the State.
It was also informed that 6,569 phone calls have been received through the helpline-6569.
