He pondered the possibility of having these two communities to come forward for a joint pre-Christmas prayer festivity next Sunday at Rajabari village where the delegates from the Assam Valley Baptist Mission and Border Peace Coordination Committee (BPCC) A-N members shall be present. He welcomed all peace loving people to come to this meet and grace the occasion for ushering love and understanding between the humane races thus create a lasting peace and glorify the meaning of Christmas.

It is pertinent to mentioned that the Nagas living in and around Mariani area initiated having an Ao Baptist Fellowship through a great awakening in 1977. The Assamese Baptist Church Mariani which was established in 1930 was very generous to extend support to grow the newly started congregation and allowed to worship in their church building at a convenient time slot. This arrangement continued for nearly 25 years till such time the Ao Baptist Church constructed its own church in 2003.
