Kohima, February 23 (MExN): The Literary Committee of Baptist College conducted its literary day 2022 at Basketball Court, Baptist College, Kohima campus under the theme, ‘The world in words’ on February 22.
Dr Sentinaro Tsuren, Convener, Literary Committee stated that reading, writing and communication” were the three tools that prepares students for living and learning outside the text.
The programme was marked by solo competition, creative letter writing and pencil sketching and “Open Mic.” Yemkong Somba and Sangbolong Jamir (Band performance) enthralled the gathering with special appearance. Earlier, Dr Kewepfuzu Lohe, Vice Principal, Sechü Campus pronounced the blessing.
The programme was compered by Chubanungba Imsong and Synthia Chemtok.
Dr Kekuchol Pusa, Principal, Baptist College gave away certificates and prizes to the winners and participants while vote of thanks was proposed by Seyiesilie Vüprü, Assistant Professor, Political Science, Baptist College.
