Nagaland CM hails new ‘recruits’ as NPSC declares NCS, NPS, NSS and Allied Services exam results

The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has declared the provisional results for NCS, NPS, NSS and Allied Services 2018 exams on December 19. 

A notification from the Commission on Thursday informed that the results were for the ‘Written Main Examination and Viva-voce for NCS, NPS, NSS & Allied Services 2018’ conducted by the NPSC in pursuance of the Commission’s “Advertisement No. NPSC-3/2018 August 31, 2019 and Notification dated March 15, 2019, 

Among others, the results include recruitment to 15 posts of Extra Assistant Commissioner (Cl-I Gazetted Junior Grade) under Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department (P&AR); 4 posts of Excise Inspector (Cl-II Gazetted) under Excise Department; and 41 posts of Secretariat Assistant (Cl-III Non-Gazetted) under P&AR.

The notification from NPSC Secretary, Kevekha Kevin Zehol, NCS further informed that “any selected candidate intending not to accept the post for which he/she is selected may submit a Non-Acceptance Letter on or before the 6th of January 2020.”

The results are purely provisional subject to verification of antecedents and documents and consequence of Non-Acceptance Letter submitted by recommended candidates, it added.

Meanwhile, the Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphu Rio took to Twitter to welcome the successful candidates and encourage them. 

“Congratulations to all the qualifiers of the #Nagaland Public Service Commission examination. I wish you all the very best as you begin the journey of serving our State, in your respective roles,” he tweeted.
